How the “R2P” works
- Meets once a week for 4-6 weeks at a runner-friendly pub
- Runners, walkers, and joggers (all are welcome!) are divided into groups – each led by an experienced coach and a fun enthusiast
- Get started on your fitness goals, or train for a race
- Starts with 1/2 mile and increases every week until we reach 3 miles (5K!)
- Each run ends at the pub where it began
- Hang out, enjoy a FREE beer and win raffle prizes
- Can't make it every week? You can drop in for just $10 at most events!

Raving Fan
I started running with Run to the Pub, Tinley Park in the Fall of 2018. I was still recuperating from a tear of the tendon that ran down the center of my foot. I loved the group, made friends, and showed up when my schedule allowed.
Fast forward to March 2020 and Covid. I needed running like I never needed it before! The daily stress of teaching from home and everyone being home made running a daily necessity. Run to The Pub offered an online home to check in daily, ost results and triumphs, and find fun challenges and opportunities to run. It helped me keep my sanity and gave me a local running buddy to get my morning runs in with!
Now, fast forward to September. I am so beyond proud to say that I completed a Half Marathon !! The support and friendships led me to complete a run I never would have imagined I could have done. Whether you are a walker, runner, or someone looking for a social outing, give Run to The Pub a chance. You will make friends, you will make memories, and you might just Run farther than you ever dared to dream.
